Why We Don’t Do Subscriptions

We know other medication apps charge £40, £50, even £60 per year. They’ll tell you it’s for “server costs” or “ongoing development.”

Your data stays on your phone. We don’t have servers to pay for. Your medications aren’t stored in some data centre — they’re on your device, where they belong.

The app is finished. MedChime does what it’s supposed to do. We’ll keep updating it, fixing bugs, and adding features — but we don’t need recurring revenue to justify our existence.

It just feels wrong. Charging people £40/year to remember their heart medication? That’s not the kind of company we want to be.

So: pay once, own forever. Simple as that.

Pricing FAQ

What if I need more than 5 medications?
Upgrade to Pro for £6.99 and track unlimited medications. It’s a one-time purchase — you’ll never pay again.
Is there a free trial of Pro?
We don’t have a trial, but Google Play allows refunds within 48 hours if you’re not satisfied. No questions asked.
Will there be a subscription option in the future?
No. We’ve committed to one-time pricing. The Pro upgrade you buy today will work forever.
Do as-needed medications count towards the free limit?
Yes. The free tier allows up to 5 medications total, whether they’re scheduled or as-needed. If you have 3 scheduled and 2 as-needed, that’s 5.
